TED NUGENT To Present At 'Golden Moose Awards'

Legendary rocker Ted Nugent is among the scheduled presenters at the 12th annual Golden Moose Awards, the most popular and longstanding outdoor television awards ceremony in the country. Set to take place on January 19, 2012 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas during the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show 2012),the Golden Moose Awards honor the producers and on-air talent from Outdoor Channel's industry-leading programming. The show, which will be streamed live for the first time, will be emceed by Michael Waddell of Outdoor Channel's "Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell" and "Bone Collector". It will also feature a live private, performance by Grammy-winning artist Zac Brown who has made appearances on Outdoor Channel's "Fear No Evil" in 2011 and "Red Arrow", which will air in 2012.

New in 2012, Outdoor Channel will stream the Golden Moose Awards on OutdoorChannel.com live, allowing audiences from around the country and around the world to tune-in to this highly anticipated event. Outdoor Channel will also be tweeting updates from the event and plans to broadcast the 2012 Golden Moose Awards on the network as a special in February.

Several of the highly coveted "Fan Favorite" accolades will be awarded at the event. Fan Favorites are determined by more than 18,000 viewers who choose from the following five categories: Best Host(s),Best Fishing Series, Best Hunting Series, Best New Series and Best Overall Series.
